Tonight we discuss the Circleville letters, a homegrown Ohio nightmare.  Mysterious letters written to nearly all the residents of one Ohio town, filled with their secrets, and nobody knows who wrote them. Or do they? We talk about the official explanation, the loose threads, and more in tonight's Goose Chase. 

This week we talk about a religious movement you probably haven't heard of, unless you do a bit more googling than the average person or happen to live in Venice, CA.  Full Circle, a ministry by Andrew Keegan of "10 Things I Hate About You" fame, has gotten a little coverage and there seems to be an idea about it being a bit of a cult. We had to look for ourselves and we were as surprised as anyone by what we found and what we thought.  Plus, insane hot sauce.  Goose Chase!

Tonight we dive into forgotten realms of material science with a look into Starlite, the once known and then vanished "miracle" material designed to withstand insane temperatures. To be honest, we're not in the interest of picking on any one religion (though we've talked religion before), but the relatively little most people know about Jehovah's Witnesses sent us off on this goose chase. Cooper, a mysterious well-dressed man who vacated a plane with ransom money never to be seen again. We love a good mystery. 

This week we have a peek at the FBI vault, a collection of files made available to us, the general public, via freedom of information requests. Turns out they have files on a lot of things we hadn't even considered, with a little bit of intrigue, a whole lot of paperwork, and we've only just begun to look under the hood. Also we announce our contest winner and try some fancy beer. 

Today we discuss the bizarre, and ultimately tragic, tale of a neuroscience expermient from the early 60s, in which dolphins were evaluated and trained for the specific purpose of trying to teach them English. No, really.  Bizarre as it may sound, this experiment was bona fide, NASA funded, and had high hopes.  Until it went off the rails. Be warned, this is a very sad episode, like rock bottom sad.
